Benevolence

The big one could certainly eat the smaller dragons in one bite, but he didn't. He could shoo the small ones away with one mighty flick of his claw. Yet he did not. The little ones were curious. Big ones were mean. Big ones never let them come so close. So they grew ever more curious and ever more daring. Even alighting on his back and shoulders. The bravest of them landed straight on his wizened face and gazed deep into his eyes. Gazed into his lonely soul.
