Corvain Portrait

Finally I broke in my sketchbook I got for Christmas! Took me long enough to get over my art block!

This is Corvain, my elemental dragon of darkness. (yes darkness is an element in his world apparently.) He is not your generic evil black dragon, but he is no angel either. Here he is using his dark element, which is incredibly hard to draw. It's like a mix of liquid, fire, and smoke that reflects nothing. I may explain more later.

This version of the picture is a little darker than the actual one, and it lacks some of the mid tones. Ah well. I'm also testing out my new little water mark sig thing too.
